Drummer Looking for a Signed Band that is Touring
A band is a team. The biggest mistake a band can make is when they have a member or members who forget that it is a TEAM. I am very dedicated and dependable. Integrity is one of my most valuable assets. I will come audition for you and if you decide you want me as a band member I need to know within a week after the audition because I get about five offers per month and I wouldn't want to make you any promises that I could not fulfill. I play all styles of music and interested in playing with a signed band that is touring. I will consider a start up also. I play electric drums because they can be turned down when playing in small venues. I do play acoustic drums also and can get a set if needed.

Seasoned Vocals Seeks Like-Minded
I'm a 40+yo female vocalist whos considering bandwork again for FUN - would bring random weekend and festival gigs in clean/sober environments in New England (CT, NH, more?). ME PERSONALLY: humbled and grateful by mentionable share in the music scene. Professional attitude but definitely tasteful fun in the music. I give it ALL to the listener and leave beautifully drained. Humbly said, been told I do that whether one song or full show, and listener feels like the song is just for them - thats the way I always want it to be; REAL. I'm considering starting band with other seasoned musicians who have also arrived at a life-place thats NOT about fame and fortune - but seasoned by life-awareness that music is an important part of their being, and how they enjoy sharing with others - performers and listeners alike. That said, here's the straight - see if it's you: Considering a four member band (keep it simple) - bassist, drummer and guitar - acoustic & electric. I'd be lead vocal, but LOVE duets and HARMONIES, so somebody else bring the vocals too! THE BAND: All would have a seasoned attitude - NOT LED BY EGO, but by gratitude cause you know how it really works! Who are CLEAN AND SOBER, because you dont need that drama like I don't and because life's too short to miss what really matters; like the NATURAL HIGH you already know a great sound brings! Who are more into a rock sound, but love a ballad too. Who appreciate the SPACE BETWEEN THE NOTES and knows that's DOABLE even in leads/riffs of a rock song. Who are experienced enough to understand the beauty of a listening-room; that DYNAMICS draw the listener into the art and, in contrast, VOLUME can destruct that. Who are comfortable in their ability to take a song and reasonably make it their own - not stuck on impersonations. Who appreciate both the acoustic and electric presentation, by your own sweet humble confidence deep in your own heart of music. And who are seasoned in the craft enough to pick up on originals, if called on. A mixed range of cover-sounds that stick in my head and would love to have fun with - Train, Wallflowers, Sheryl Crowe, Evanescence, Goo Goo Dolls, Shawn Mullins, Natalie Merchant, Poco, John Haitt, Black Crowes, SRV, Bonnie Raitt, Gin Blossoms, Toad and the Wet Sprockets, Big Head Todd and the Monsters... Also, you know that learning a song is on your OWN TIME, and band practice is to tighten the presentation. I'm not a snot, but like to be upfront; I know what I like in bandwork and presentation - and I appreciate learning and growing with like-minded. Let's share that in the music. I own an Early Prod. 98-w/e Hagstrom Select Ultralux Swede, the Amp is a 30Watt(loud enuff for playing w/ a drumset), Vox VT-30. If you know about tube amps, this amp has a tube in the Power Amp, instead of the Pre-Amp..which gives it an almost completlely tube-like sound. I am 28, and would like to create anything special or severely meshed styles any band, any time. Vocals can either come along as we go(w/ Hamonies), or later. Unless this turns out to be purely instrumental, w. some odd sounds, samples, or looping.. please let me know if you are able to get into a free-flowing assembly of sound, or have a drive to create original, yet influenced music. Not to be confused w/ a jam band...PLEASE. Try to think of the early freestylings of NYC freestyle, to the organized chaos of Floyd, and quick speed, of thrash, early ecclectic punk, No-Wave to jazzy riffage w/ a tuned drum-kit, and some odd timed percussion or flute. Serious Project!
I am a drummer who performed live for about 16 years while in Europe. Played in halls and outdoor festivals with audiences of 2,000 people plus. Can play well to a click live and have done some studio work. Not well versed in rudiments, I am an emotional player who transcends a feel through the instrument. I have performed on radio and TV shows... and yes, even playback performances. Time keeping and groove integrity is fundamental and very important to me. i am a singer songwriter guitarist looking for musicians to bring my songs to life. i am in a constant state of writing and would love to have cool, egoless, layed back folks to enlarge this art. im very influenced by wilco and the beatles as far as song writing and structure goes, and i love to stretch out and jam and explore sound in the vain of the dead and phish. i just hit 40 and do have a family, but i always make time to play and would play most any show and anywhere. love to get out and do shows all summer.
